Baan Panburi provides an excellent range of up-market budget accommodation on the island. Situated on the north east corner of Koh Phangan, this secluded resort has over 300 meters of beachfront expanding over half the bay at Thong Nai Pan Noi; white sand, crystal clear waters and lots of coconut trees. Natural beauty and cleanliness have been blended with simple huts to create an idyllic paradise for young and seasoned travellers alike. Thong Nai Pan Noi is a beautiful long white sandy beach and the bay is deep which means that it is excellent for swimming all year around. There is little to see in the way of marine life, but there are some decent waves for body surfing. Thong Nai Pan Noi is very popular with its bohemian vibe and small village with some cool bars and restaurants. The resort has a wide-range of island style huts to suit most needs and budgets. There are a total of 63 huts and bures. Bures is the word for island cottage made of local wooden materials. Here it is made of bamboo panel walls, palm leave roof with wooden floor, rustic and picturesque in appearance. The Bures also come with hot water. Island hut is a slightly smaller and less detail version, both are cleanly kept and have excellent view. The island huts do not have hot water. Ceiling fan is provided as well as mosquito net to cover the bed at night. A very rustic and wonderful experience to spend time here and guaranteed one would not want to leave when the time comes. |

To live to our tradition, of serving the best food on Koh Phangan (as commented by Joe Cummings, author of the Lonely Planet on Thailand Island and beach 2003) we have opened a full service section of our Sala Rim Nam Restaurant to accommodate an overflowing number of diners who patron us nightly. Our Chef Ja, who is well-known to our repeated visitors as usual has arranged many new dishes for you to try like her spicy egg plant salad, authentic Indian masara prawns curry, vegetarian gado-gado salad to green curry pizza and not to mention the fresh succulent seafood B.B.Q from the catch of the day. And of cause if you wish Ja to prepare any special dishes for your special occasion, all you have to do is ask for her. To make Baan Panburi true to our dream of being a tropical paradise in full bloom, we have just finished lay a 4,000 meters long water pipe line direct from the mountain waterfall to our home so that we can enjoy year round fresh water supply for our own use and for our tropical. |

Baan Panburi Village situated on the north east corner of Koh Phangan. There are taxis leaving from Haad Rin Beach and Thong Sala Town during most of the day until early evening. The taxi ride will cost between 80 and 100 Thai Baht per person and take approximately 40 minutes. For the more adventurous, take a boat taxi from Haad Rin or Chaloklum Beach and sample the amazing views around the island. This option may not be available during low season as there are less people and the weather may make the sea too rough for the boats. |
